"I began my art and design business 25 years ago when I painted huge canvases with color. At the same time I was designing products for the international market which sold in the world’s most prestigious stores. This is when I fell in love with both art and design. Around this same time I met Ati Gropius, daughter of Bauhaus founder Walter Gropius. I took a course from her in Color and was hooked. Color became my passion, paper became my medium and Ati became my mentor. Ati and I now work together teaching Bauhaus Foundation Courses in Two Dimensional Design, 3 Dimensional Thinking and the Josef Albers course, The Dynamics of Color. We’ve taught at prestigious art institutions across the country such as The Museum of Modern Art." - Liz Roache
